Wool CRC revamps its web site
The Wool CRC's homepage has been reworked to make it more
interactive for its many browsers. The aim is to use the web as an
effective, two-way communication tool which readers can use as a one stop
shop for their wool-related information needs and which the CRC can use to
promote its research and education work. Added facilities will render it
more user friendly, and it will be updated on a more regular basis.
New options and a host of helpful links will be utilised
to keep browsers up to date with the latest information, be it a media
release, dates for a forthcoming "Access to the Experts" module or an
announcement about a major development in one of the Wool CRC's research
projects. The latest issues of The Wool Press and Finewool Newsletter will
also be put on the site, as well as published papers as they become
available.
The Wool CRC's Communication Manager, Carleen Schmalz,
said the world wide web is a useful communication tool that lends itself
perfectly to an industry that is spread right across the country.
"Wool industry players, from growers to brokers to
processors to spinners to garment manufacturers from all States and indeed
the world will have equal, access to our work, which spans all sectors of
the industry", said Ms Schmalz. "And it's a tool we hope industry
participants will utilise to their best advantage".
