| Dr Lionel Ward |
Dr Lionel Ward has extensive experience and expertise in the wool industry.
Lionel has been Executive Director of the National Council of Wool Selling
Brokers for the last five years. He is also principal of Marketing and
Planning Pty Ltd, a consultancy that specialises in strategic planning and
marketing. He has also been an external member of the Executive Committee
since its inception so he has clear ideas of the CRC’s objectives and
operations. Most people in the Industry have probably encountered him at
some time as a forceful and enthusiastic speaker in wool forums across the
country with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Industry as a whole. Lionel
graduated from the University of Western Australia with degrees in
Agriculture and Arts (economics). He has a Master of Science degree and a
PhD from the University of California.
